St Georges’ Hall in Bradford was the venue for this years’ Bradford Young Citizen Award.

Throughout the Bradford district young people have been making outstanding contributions to their local communities. To acknowledge their achievements, professionals and the public nominated young people and groups to receive a Bradford Young Citizen Award in the following categories:

• Be healthy
• Stay safe
• Enjoy and achieve
• Make a positive contribution
• Achieve economic well being

The Award ceremony was hosted by actors from Emmerdale and Hollyoaks and featured performances by young people from across the district.

This year there was a high number of nominations received and the Activity Agreement is proud to announce that Mudaser Noor from the Activity Agreement in Bradford was nominated for the “Be Healthy” category. From a shy, quiet young person who was bullied a school, Mudasser has grown in confidence and has shown outstanding personal achievement throughout his time on the Activity Agreement. He is now studying full time at Bradford College.
