Calderdale Council celebrated the achievements of its employees this month.

This was the second year that the Council had held the Calderdale One Awards, recognising outstanding contributions made by its employees.

Awards were made in seven categories:
• Employee of the Year
• Team of the Year
• Customer Focus
• Innovation
• Leadership
• New Employee of the Year

We are very proud to announce that Howard Nayor, Activity Agreement Senior Keyworker in Calderdale won 2nd place in the Innovation category for demonstrating innovation on the Activity Agreement by providing bespoke programmes for young people.

The awards were presented by the Leader of the Council, Cllr. Ann McAllister, and by the Mayor of Calderdale, Cllr. Martin Peel, at a ceremony which was held in the Dean Clough Gallery, Halifax.
