The Activity Agreement is a programme of activities and learning
with a difference.
It offers you a unique opportunity to develop and fast-forward your
prospects for the future! And you get paid for doing it!
If you're 16 or 17 years old and have not been in education,
employment or training for some time the Activity Agreement could be
for you.
How does it work?
It really starts with you, but we are here to
help. Just get in touch and tell us that you’re interested. A
Keyworker will then get together with you to tell you more.
You sign an “Activity Agreement” if you choose to go ahead.
The two of you then work together to design a set of enjoyable,
worthwhile activities and learning aims just for you, and then
you’re on your way. Your Keyworker will support you all the way
through.
What Activities can I choose?
There’s a fantastic mix of possibilities open
to you. Take a look at our Activities page
for just a few examples of some of the activities other young people
have taken part in.
We pay for your activity, and you’ll get £30 a week and
other expenses as long as your programme lasts.
What hours do I need to do?
There are no fixed hours to do. Your hours
depend on the particular programme arrangements you and your
Keyworker have agreed for you. It can be from a few hours to more
than half a week, each week. You will normally increase the amount
of activity you participate in as the programme goes along.
How long will I be on the programme?
The maximum programme period is 20 weeks, but
you and your Keyworker can agree any period to meet your
requirements from one week upwards. A short length programme can
also be revised and extended, or vice versa.
Where does all this take me?
Where do you want to go?
Young people already taking part tell us they want to achieve
something and realise their potential. They want to earn a living
and they’re looking for more exciting prospects. In the end, most
say they want the feeling of independence. We can go with that. If
this sounds good, and you want to create your own future, then get
in touch with us.
